A combined total of 53,000 students and 7,000 staff and professors study and work at York University's Keele and Glendon campuses. The modern 185-hectare (457-acre) Keele campus, located in northern Toronto, is a self-contained community with extensive modern facilities, including restaurants, a shopping mall, banks and a medical/dental clinic. Glendon is set on 33 hectares (85 acres) of park land, minutes from the boutiques, restaurants and nightlife of mid-town Toronto. At Glendon, students reap the benefits of studying in an international, bilingual environment.
In 2016, York celebrated the opening of its EcoCampus in Costa Rica.
A new campus will be built in Markham, Ontario, in partnership with Seneca College, and will offer high-quality degree programs and workplace-based learning opportunities, supporting student mobility and driving creativity and collaboration.
