New Faculty: Faculty of Law
Ryerson's Faculty of Law reimagines legal education to create a new kind of lawyer – one who is technologically savvy, a driver of the new economy and equipped with the diversity of perspectives required to be a champion for ordinary citizens. Our Juris Doctor (JD) program includes a mandatory professional placement, as well as immersive bootcamps designed to teach students everything from coding to innovative business skills.

New Program Format: Fashion (BDes)
The School of Fashion has restructured its 2 distinct programs, Fashion Communication (BDes) and Fashion Design (BDes), into a single program: Fashion (BDes). Revised academic admission requirements are as follows:
- OSSD with six Grade 12 U/M courses including Grade 12 U English.
Occupational Health and Safety & Public Health - Program Name Changes
The BASc in Occupational and Public Health (with an Occupational Health and Safety option) has been renamed to the BASc in Occupational Health and Safety.
The BASc in Occupational and Public Health (with a Public Health and Safety option) has been renamed to the BASc in Public Health.
Mises à jour d'admission
The new Fashion (BDes) program will no longer require Grade 11 U/M or Grade 12 U Mathematics as a subject prerequisite. See Program Changes above.
Public Health (BASc, Two-Year Program for University Graduates) and Occupational Health and Safety (BASc, Two-Year Program for University Graduates)
Effective fall 2020, the liberal studies and chemistry prerequisite courses must be completed prior to commencing the degree program. Revised academic admission requirements are as follows:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university including 3 (lower- or upper-level) liberal studies courses.
- Applicants must have as part of their degree (or other post-secondary education) credit for at least 1 single-term course in chemistry (equivalent to CHY 104).
Sport Media (BA)
Sport Media has changed to a grades-only program. Effective fall 2020, the program will no longer require non-academic requirements. Learn more about the detailed Sport Media program requirements.
